My wife has had a Polish driving license for about 7 years. At present she can only use it for 6 months in the UK after trip outside the UK.

Is it possible to get her license changed to a UK or EU license rather than taking a test again? She is happy to take the test, but would then be presented with a new license which means - no experience recorded, high insurance premiums.....

I have tried calling the DVLA, but it is near enough impossible to ge through. Any ideas or alternatives?
