Hello

I'm just about to hit 2000 posts. Is the I.T. industry EVER going to pick up? The last 1000 or so posts have been in the last 10 months.

Steve.

I wish it would slacken off at least by another 50% then I might, might just get some time to catch up on stuff

In the last 12 months, I have only spent 4 days in our office (and 3 of them days where charged out to our customers) and ive worked on average one weekend in 5 too, all chargeable, and approx 30 late night out of hours work

and this year doesnt look any better

Hello

Ah ... that would account for it then! Government (and NHS) contracts are always good...

Steve, i have to admit working mostly 14/16 hr days at the mo.

For me, and certainly my closely associated companies have started the new year with manic sales.

I personally think i've done my best month ever, already, without even trying to sell any more IT solutions...

If it carries on, i'm gonna have to either clone myself, or get my 2yr old son out installing networks..!!!

still, being realistic, it may be a "make hay" type scenario, which is why it told all my clients "yes, we can do that" in december.

i still make a few slack days in between though, just to recharge..

good luck

BB

I've been riding the storm out in the public sector, but those who leave seem to be finding work without too much difficulty. I got the impression things were on the way up?
