it's called tinnitus. you can't stop it - it will either go away on its own or it won't.

Quasimodo had a similar problem.

He went off with Esmerelda, which seemed to cure the problem.

Ahh those were the days, going to those college parties when I were a lad...getting drunk and deafening myself to the extent I couldn't hear anyone talking the next day.

and that contsant PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE E

That seems to get amplified when your bladdered and just going to bed.

Lock yourself in a completly quiet room for a day or so, your brain will learn to ignore it then (exams were handy with this during my stoodant dayz )

ive had it all my life- its natural in my ears and im used to it...

If i go to a club (or anywhere that loud) and im not working- i will always use ear attenuators (posh custom ear plugs ) as i get it very very severely if i dont and it will last in its bad state for days on end..

Otherwise my headphones being on my head the majority of the night will stop it occuring-although if it is a very loud venue i will use my attenuators under my headphones..although this can make it harder to mix...

Bottom line- you cant make it go away- if it does, then stop it happening next time or it might never go away
I wont bore you lot with the science of why it happens either...
