try
here .
They've got the dyson dc05 for £150, cost my old dear over £300 from john lewis a couple of years ago. Really good hoover, especially with the motorhead.

Hate to poor cold water on the whole Dyson thing but in certain respects they're over-rated.
As an upright, they out-perform every other machine on the market but the hose cleaning attachment is poor.
For cleaning the car and general muck cleaning you can't touch Henry.

forget hyped-for-housewives DYSON, bagged hoovers are much less hassle.
i'd mauch rather lift out a self sealing Miele bag and drop it in the bin than manually clean out a dusty cylinder all the time...

Ditto - Dyson (yes, i've owned one) = triumph of design over function, and vastly overpriced to boot.
Currently using a Panasonic which beats the previous Dyson hands down

It's French. You have to cover yourself in honey and roll around on the floor, thus picking up all the dust.
