here

Its a Nikon Coolpix 2100,everywhere else its 179.99 but at Amazon it says its 142.05.
The only thing is they dont always make it clear the difference between new and used. They seem to have a term called "new used"???

My question is,is the 142.05 brand new or not,in the manner we normally use that phrase.

If it says new next to the item for sale it has to be new or they are breaking all sorts of laws, it looks like they do have them for sale at a very good price. If they advertise as new and then it turns out to be 2nd hand send it back and demand a full refund but I have often bought 2nd hand stuff from them and new gear has turned up, which is nice

If you click on '3 used and new' it states the condition as 'new'. It also actually says that they havent got any used ones:

"We're sorry. There are currently no used listings for Nikon COOLPIX 2100 Digital Camera [2MP 3xOptical]. However, you can:

Buy it new from £142.05
Pre-order it Used--we'll show you how "

I would be expecting a brand new one - as for the price itself, I would just check that they dont leave out some equipment that you usually get in other packages.

Looking at the technical details everything is there incl rechargeable batteries plus charger.
If you click on the new icon on the right, there is a used one at 145,more expensive than new.

The price is just so good it makes me wonder.

Amazon also have a Canon Powershot A60 that retails at £199.99 on the high street for the great price of £129.99. So good I just ordered one.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds the way amazon display items as new & used confusing.

I prefer to buy brand new, and only from amazon, otherwise I'd go to ebay or similar.

If you click on the new & used link, and then the 'new' tab, it displays who the suppliers are. Here.

Agreed,i buy used books off Amazon, nowt wrong with that, but they should make a clear distinction between brand new and used.
"Like new" is still used imo.

Hello mate

Just make sure you get like for like, same package as regards memory cards and other items as some offers do not always include such and is not always the bargain they seem.

Guys what do you all think of the Kodak DX4530. This baby is 5Mega Pixels 2580x1932 - its £199. So many more pixels than the nice £150 ones we are looking at here... Any thoughts?
