WTF - £580 per month!

Thats what 3 fill ups a week (approx 920 miles!) fecking hell mate thats alot of driving!!!

Got my Shell plus points mail this morning can anyone beat this:
On average you buy 736 litres of Shell fuel each month (based on your transactions over the last five months)
@ 78.9ppl it costs me £580.00 a month to drive my scoob!!

 

I can't come near that. But just think, in a year you'll have enough points to get a free pen.

 

Is the average correct?
I received the same mail and the quoted average seemed high (haven't checked yet) compared to my spend over the last few months. This figure is the basis for awarding bonuses (boni) in the future and so the higher the figure the better for Shell.

 

I fill up 2-3 times a week, but im getting <200 miles per tank
disadvantage to owning an RA i suppose. And thats driving miss daisy too. A 'good' weekend will see me filling up again making 4 per week!

Had my scoob for 8 days now, and have covered just over 1000 miles, and I'm doing my petrol sums right now....mmmm need a pay rise.

 

I have the same problem with my RA too dn, 200 miles a tank or 18 miles to the gallon!! and this is driving to work and back.

 

Got mine too 344 litres a month, seemed a bit high.

Scary when you see how much fuel it drinks!

I think BA have cloned my shell card with these figures , I do allot of miles but not nearly 4,000 a month. Looks like I won't be earning my extra points this month :
Buy 776 litres in November & receive an extra 40 pluspoints
Buy the same in December & receive a further 40 pluspoints PLUS, 40 more as a bonus for doing it two months running!
Lucky me eh!

Grrrrr I wish i could find my statement... Got mine on june 6th with 26k on the clock, just turning 42k today.

16k in 5 months all on Opti..... Scary as hell....
