Anyone see Planes, Trains and Automobiles on Sky last night ? Not seen it in ages, and it still holds up today despite being 16 years old !!

Laughed out loud at the scene where Steve Martin haggled his way into the motel room with only $17 and a "damn nice watch"... then John Candy tries to do the same with only $2 and "a Casio"

Along with Coming to America, The Sure Thing and The Money Pit, PT&A ranks as one of my favourite 80's comedies..

What are yours ?

Ghostbusters - class.

The Blues Brothers - absolute quality - best car chase in cinema.

Thumbs up

Goldeneye - don't worry - you're not the only one to like Clue! Tim Curry, you gotta love him!

If you haven't seen Oscar, watch it. Don't get put off by the fact that it's a comedy starring Sylvester Stallone - it's great!

Weird Science is very cool. Ferris Buelers Day off is another classic too. Just got the "Double Secret Probation" edition of Animal House, top film, makes me laugh every time I see it.

They took the bar!
