I know this is a common problem with dogs but she makes me feel really sick. Caught her the other day catching links outta my other dogs a*se while he was taking a sh*t!!

Any idea how to get her out of this disgusting habit?!

 

Yep, my dog did this for 12 months - couldn't stop her!! She doesn't do it now .... I know its no consolation but it will stop!

On the other hand, get an old washing up bottle, fill it with water and squirt her in the face when you catch her doing it!

Had to laugh when that singer called 'scatman' released a song a few years ago .

Dogs will eat horse **** in the fields I keep mine in, and I've seen Geldings (Horses) route through the dollops which come out of the back of mares.
I always bollock my kids for letting the dogs lick their faces (or is that faeces) for this reason.

Just before this gets sent south and while everyone's eating their lunch,
I took my friends Labrador puppy for a walk once and it kept eating cow ****, took it home and got a call later saying the dog had spewed re-constituted cow **** all over their cream carpet!

Haven't been dog walking since!

Dogs WILL do this - they'll eat anything going, especially puppies.

Ours used to and still does eat rabbit poo while he's on his walk round the fields.

Wouldn't worry about it...

 

Often a sign of a dietary deficiency - sometimes supplements can help. Have you asked a vet?

Perhaps you should feed it some dog food and not your own cooking. Dont forget dogs cant talk so he is demonstrating what he would rather eat

SERIOUSLY :

Your dog is deficient in a mineral (cant remember which) buy some charcoal dog biscuits and feed them to it. It gives the pup the vitamins and makes the turd undesirable and not to mention black!

Thanks Buzzer! I'm giving her charcoal for flatulence at the min so i'll give the other dog some too and hopefully it'll solve the prob!!

Red_dog. Feed the mutt canned pineapples along with its food. Apparently it makes the crap really acidic and the dog won't eat it. It takes a week or so to work though, so stick at it.
