Some geriatric old tw@t has just driven through the middle of a street market in California killing 8 people and injuring scores of others and has been released by the police without charge.

WTF is going on?

Maybe it was a mechanical failure/seizure/any number of things,or maybe he really was the chef (was it a diner then or what ??? )

 

Nope! The news said he mistook the accelerator for the brake pedal!

 

15 people critical in hospital on my local news.
It's about time we wake up to RE-testing everone after 20 years or so.
some driving I see is absolutely appalling!
worse still is some don't even recognise what they have done wrong !!
Ok so I'm not the worlds best driver and I do make mistakes ...and speed but least I know when and what I've done.
these coffin dodgers need to PROVE they can drive safely before they are allowed behind the wheel. [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

I remember a tv program a few years back showing some old bint re taking her test, how the **** she hadn't killed herself or anyone else is beyond me. she could'nt even stay on the correct side of the road for **** sake, when the examiner yanked the steering wheel, she asked why did he have to keep interfeering!!!!

Because you were about to die!! (perhaps that would have been a good thing)
