Hello

My "free" redundancy insurance on my mortgage is up this month, and I will have to start paying for it myself.

Can anyone recommend a company that does good (and cheap!) cover?

I just want to check I'm not being conned by the Yorkshire Building Society.

Thanks,

Steve.

Steve I take it you are looking for life cover only?

If so try Lutine Assurance (not sure if you have to go through an adviser) but their rates for term assurance are excellent.

Hello

I am looking for redundancy protection only.

I have four times death-in-service with my current company.

Are you sure you want it, its expensive and has so many clauses that it's not often paid out and certainly never on the day you get the bullet....check out the details before renewing. This and income protection are 2 of the most scammed insurance rackets out there. After Car Warranties of course
