Reminds me how once a kid on a push bike came out from behind some hoardings like a bat out of hell right into the side of my car. Fortunately the combined impetus of my speed (about 25mph) and his bounced him right back onto his bike and he sped off even faster. Sign of guilt? Anyways, I found out where he lived and went round there and informed his mother that they'd just nearly lost a son. Loved to have been a fly on the wall in that house when dad got home !
Needless to say it scared the crap out of me and each time I passed those hoardings after that, I took it ever-so-slow!
