I like the look of this dining table:

http://www.marksandspencer.com/IWCat...duct_Id=17607#

It is a 6 seater extendable to 8.

My mother was over in the uk and saw the table. The sales person told her that it is made of soft wood, and not recommended for everyday use.

We want to use the table in our kitchen.

They also said they cannot deliver to the channel islands.. so fair enough - so now we need to look for another table.

Does anyone know any places online that sell similiar tables to the above? needs to be a 6seater extentable to 8. It needs to be roughly the same colour, and rectangle shapped.

That's exactly like the one I have with extending centre section, I paid £250 for it including 4 chairs (slight chip on edge of table)

Unfortunately the place I got it from caught fire a few months ago and is no more

Reliably informed that M&S furniture is not very good quality, especially when its fairly expensive - was told to avoid it when buying new stuff for the house

cheers - we cant buy it anyway, as they wont ship to Jersey, plus the table is not designed for everyday use, which we want it for in our kitchen.

That's got to be one of the most basic tables I have ever seen. Why dont you get someone to make you one just like it out of proper wood?
