Basically my AA cover is due for renewal in 5 days time and i've had loads of reminders(i was going to renew, just like to leave things to the last minute, also hate direct debit).
Just had a call from some salesguy from the AA asking why i've not renewed.I said i'm just in the process of ringing round for a better quote (wasnt really) so he said instead of £106 if i give him my cc details and pay it all now he'll do it for £64.

You can guess my reply...

He assured me it was exactly the same cover as last year.

The AA guys who hang around outside Halfords, offered me the top package (instead of 204 quid) for 150 if I signed with them

Question

Mine was for relay and roadside, £84 plus £22 for additional member.

What does the £204 policy cover?

As yours, but Hire car for two days, Homestart too, and car taken to any garage you nominate

Seemed like a decent package, not sure if hotels were in there too, possibly not with Hire Care, as it is no questions, with Hire Car, tis delivered to you , whilst you wait for the breakdown truck

Phoned the AA a couple of days ago because the cover has gone up from last year (no call outs!) but the woman said there was no movement in the price! Had the same arguement last year and it was cheaper to let it run out and re-join, obviously care about keeping customers Will have to let it run out and get a new deal, or try some other breakdown companies

My bro told me, that the AA have now started giving him freebies, as he has been with them a few years, and never once called them out, so they have basically upped his service, for no charge
