It's worth buying the International version on DVD, there's a good 25 minutes cut from the UK release.

Make sure you feel thoroughly guilty about ogling Natalie Portman later in Star Wars!

I must say that Luc Besson is one of my all time favorite directors, and Jean Reno is amazing. Leon is a classic film, and I second the opinion to get hold of the international version (try dvdboxoffice.com), the extra scenes do add a little more to the film.

I always have a real problem deciding which is my fave Luc Besson film. Leon, The Fifth Element, Nikita, or Taxi. Tres difficile

It's about to start but I'm watching the Millionaire thing now, grr...

Really !!! I didnt know that

I know he cast Mila Jojovitch (sp?) in 5th Element, so he could ask her out and then marry her

I think they split up after a while tho, Luc Besson co directed and co wrote the George Clooney film Solaris too
