Yes, each time u use the PS2 u need to use the regionx disk.

Using av multi to s video cable, Mummy Returns on R1 is fine on our PS2. I have heard that other connections are not so good.

I found that Region x didn't work after I installed the official PS2 remote drivers.

Anyone else.

The thing in the memory slot? I use the 8mb memory card, Region X is just a CD.

Ian, you got the Sony remote too?

That has a IR detector in slot 2.

Otherwise Region X works fine, with just the memory card.

Or maybe thats why remote and region x conflict?

if it goes light and dark it could be cos your tv might not be able to display ntsc signal properly

The dvd regionx WILL work with the new official remote control from sony. However you will need to install codes provided on Datel's website.WWW.dvdregionx.com.I warn you now ,the input process is a real pain in the a*se.Have fun!

no,you only put the code in once then save that code to either your memory card or if you have the original type(supplied with a card)save the code to the dongle.Hope this helps!

Get is chipped - new NEO4 modchip completetly disables region code and that other new code thing.

Also lets you DIRECT BOOT your backup copies.
