Which bit of it do you want to upgrade? Processor? RAM? Disk drive?

Ram and HDD shouldn't be a problem IMO. Never seen a Processor upgrade option for any recent laptop.

Was thinking of the processor. I may have to use it from home for a while and wondered if they can be upgraded like home computer processors?

Mike, the processors on most laptops are on the motherboard. They are not the plug in type, normally soldered on.
