Me and Norm have used Roger Wilco in the past, but my zonealarm stops it working. Checked all the settings but it won't have it.

Not bothered which maps as I am interested to see as many as possible with my new nvidia detonator drivers which mean I can actually see people and tell which side they are on.

Later start will prob mean more people on. I was online in time last night, but some harrassment broke out Betty, mmmm, and I ended up about 10 mins late.

Never mind was good practice v the terrorist filth (aka Deano and Kheldar)with JT and Merlin doing their bit on Inferno.

As Steve says most maps are too big for < 6 people and I went on Countermaps with Deano playing "Storm" a big map with four of us!

If your interested in a game any time we'll be up for it. We're all young so as early as possible but most of us are up late anyhow so give us some ideas and I'll see if its okay with the lads!

OK Steve,

Just gone and downloaded the newest version of Roger Wilco.

So how do we use it with CS ?

Does someone have to run a RW server ?

Only ever used it with SATCO before, and they provide RW servers to connect to.

Edited cause I'm a numpty ...

Had a closer look, and someone just needs to set up an STi clan channel, and pick an appropriate password.

More to the point we need two channels, one for CT and one for T.

I am happy to set up the CT channel. It will be called STi Clan CT and the password will be scoobydoo.

Now all we need is for someone to setup the terroist channel.

Any volunteers ?

Would like to suggest NOT welcome to Xplosiv. Moaning (and I mean worse than you Steve ) litte git. Not really sure that hes worked out that STi is not so much a clan as gentle meeting of elderly (as in over 25!) gents who aren't all that hung up on whos top of the score sheets so long as a little work day stress is worked off.

He joined myself and BarryK later on countermaps. Barry - my connection went just as I wanted to tell him where to go got the feeling you felt the same way !

And as for my aimbot, I'll be asking for my money back.

Oh and when I gunned down Kheldar on 747 with a brief burst from my Colt (yes, yes he was on my team at the time), had he been an enemy terrorist, he would have just glanced back at me and killed me with one shot from his knife!

Weird.

I don't mean just Steve, but I share Deano's frustration, only more so.

P.S. I should mention that as admin Steve and I can change the password and boot everyone off if you'd like that doing in any future scenario such as this, just whistle.

Rotterdam is always 1st/default BW map. soory m8 i tried to change it b4 i left but ping of 2000+ was wasting my time to so logged off the net totally.

arabstreets is brilliant map. if its available we'll play it.

Morning all

Not as good for me last night as I was hoping

Wife had been working late, so came back in the middle of the first session - so that caused an outage - then put supper on the table (microwave jobbie that I had all set up - so no wife/husband/work/housework/cooking b'$hit please) as the first session finished. She then moaned about me coming back for the last 20 mins, so didn't - sorry

Also, after greeting wife, came back to 747 - I still hate that map

Anyhow, thanks for setting it up. Clocked on at 20.20 exactly (joys of holiday) & proceeded to get well mullah'd by .kheldar Next person (explosive?) joined & then it was double tap on me Managed to get a couple of frags back when started using auto-shottie hehe

Can you shoot that dog in 747? - the one in the cage in the hold? Just wondering...

I'm definately not getting much better Was back on later on UK getting in more shottie practice

Roll on the next sesh...



(PS Explosive chappy must know re scoobynet or otherwise he wouldn't have got the password - would he?)

Sorry everyone I had the decency to "invite" our "guest" who proceeded to **** on the table!

It was me that told him the password, I don't care if he finds Scoobynet or not, he is an obnoxious gob$hite. aka a teenager!!

Hey we all have to grow up.

Anyhow, apart from him interrupting proceedings with perpetual whining and griping cos he was "ace", I was lousy on 747.

Rotterdam? Is taht what the server is normally stuck on in a round? Cheers Steve, I had to root out my RCON stuff again to change the map.

Aztec was good, with some interesting tactical variations.

Did we do some Inferno too? It all went so fast and I never seem to be able to concentrate just on the CS session, there is always a commotion in our house!!

I went on to Arabstreets and Osama Bin Laden turned up announcing "its good to be home"! He got surprisingly little abuse, which I bet disappointed him no end! Not knowing the map well enough I was wasting my time with too good players.

Had a good do on Italy as a T, got in some much needed aiming practice, as they didn't rush about like tools but played to guard hossies like your sposed to.

Deano, when you say I felt the same, you mean when I told those other 2 guys on the India map that he was "just a non-stop feckin moaner"? I guess I'd sized him up by then, don't think they knew him, but I bet they regret it in the morning!

I spent most of the time typing messages (aka chatting") and planting the bomb.

In the ten minutes we shared the server we shot at each other about 3 times. STORM is a massive map to lose yourself on with only 2 people. I should have known when he wanted to play knife fights.

Invite him on again if you want. Norm takes great delight shooting people who are "ace".

And where's Maxy when you need him?

India is a bizare map. Guys sniping us from under water - now how is that supposed to work

Just in case anyone was wondering... the crack about Road runner and aimbots was a joke - I only mention cos King_pin (my fellow T on Aztec) seemed concerned that it
was a genuine accusation. If I was gonna accuse anyone of using an aimbot it would be Barry

C/S really really frustrates me sometimes. One round you only have to look at someone and they're dead. Other times a full clip isn't enough. It seems to depend on your score. I'm sure that once you get towards the top of the leaderboard you become more accurate in the eyes of the server.

Anyone else notice this or is it just me babbling

lol @ Puff, I think that could of been me testing out FF .... seriously I was shooting at the hostages so that it was a warning to all CT's that us T's are mean buggers didn't mean to annoy you mate, well then again....

Barry, don't ask for a refund just yet, last night I found out that if you double jump and spin around before shooting your load off (Ohh err misses) aimbots gyro becomes more stable rather than you just standing/ducking and shooting....I believe is some kind of bug in aimbot....CS 1.3 is believed to fix this

Had several good games last night - tried to get onto coutermaps afterwards but I realised I haven't got the map is the first place Therefore I went on BW's for a quick session of 'public cannon fodder'.....did quite well, killed more than 2 per map, not bad for a nights work!
