Hi guys,

About to get a new PC after not having one for a year or so, and I was wondering out of the last 12 months releases what your recommendations would be?

Hopefully it'll give me some ideas for blowing my hard earned cash

Max Payne
Black & White

those'll do for a start.

 

Half-Life + CounterStrike mod

It's the only game you'll need

 

Or unreal tournament + quake3 if you want to move faster than a disabled tortoise

HL + Counterstrike - best online game there is - nuff said...be prepared to lose evenings and weekends to it......

go for UT and Q3 if you need an easier (ie non thinking) option and are of the spray and pray gamer variety

For me Counter Strike, hands down.

But also have enjoyed playing Indiana Jones and The Infernal Machine and Vampyre Masquerade: The Redemption with my son.

 

I still love Kingpin, but for me, most of my time is wasted on Age of Empires II.
Anyone else play it online? I've had 4 hour games which have nearly killed me.....

 

Diablo 2 - awesome.

 

just got my pc, well suzy's pc, so am in same boat.

currently playing UT - GOTY edition, very nice
