Sorry about such a long time to reply, I have been very busy. I have now signed up to Barrysworld (user 36damien), I am downloading ICQ right now so I will post when I know the number. I should be able to make the late one tonight as well as tomorrows.

I have been playing CS for a couple of months, I'm alright. As yet I only know the most popular maps: aztec, vertigo, dust1 and 2, used to play a lot of Q3, UT and Gunman. I might not be able to make some of the sessions because of work (I am doing my A-Levels this year), but I will try my best.

Can lead to hanging around at the start of the next game & running round with a basic pistol when you should have a GPMG

Now that we've got a fairly regular attendee list does anybody else think it's time that we started incorporating team tactics a bit more ?

I think we should extend the buy time to 10 seconds (or even 15) so that each time can quickly discuss tactics (Maybe designate team leaders? Kheldar and Toot possibly ?).

Rather than going for a fragfest, we should start making more use of radio commands (I know I dont use them enough, 'Enemy Spotted' for example,I usually just charge when I see them )

Once we're all confident enough (another couple of weeks say), challenge some other team to a game (did somebody mention the 6-57 crew ?)

Does anyone else agree or cant you stop the red mist coming down ?

the maps were according the votes.....dust, aztec, vertigo - could not do arabstreets cos as i said i did not think the server would have it and it didn't !

then the final one was a vote online at the time.

unfortunately to many people dont post there choices. i added my votes to vertigo, dust and aztec.

yes if peeps have the countermaps then lets head there as a standard or everyone needs to run icq so we can chat and decide.

Me upstairs on the balcony on Assault cowering, the only one left against two CT's who were already in the building.

Tooting Popular Front and somebody else (forgot who sorry), downstairs wondering 'Where did that last AWP shot come from ?'

One sneaky shot and theres only toot left. He sidles out from a box looking everywhere except where I am so I take aim and fire just as he decides to make a dash for it.

Damn, just missed and 'Oh ****, he's making a break, he's gonna leg it upstairs, better run to the hossie room and get out my deagle', run to the hossie room and have a quick check out of the window to see if he's doubled back (but he wont have done, he knows I've got an AWP and he's got a colt, close quarters he'll murder me) .

Hang on, he's still there, there he is on the other side of the box he started at ? AWP out again, 'damn he's off again' track him.......track him..... oh no he's behind the pillar, if I dont get him now he'll be up the ramp....close eyes, pray and ......Boom !!

My vote for tonight : Militia, Italy and Assault *2 (Switch teams half way through, everyone that is, it's bl00dy hard for the CT's)

 

norm it was a classic - i could not believe toot ran back out into the middle !

still i think its a cr*p map - the worst for T camping - even compared to 747 that many people hate as a T camp map.

still i bought my first awp and my first big semi automatic sniper rifle ? dunno even wot it was - looked impressive so i bought it ! got someone with it to !

I would like to say that actually as Ts you can do very well by rushing on that map as myself and Muddy did several times. The odd Back Door rush (ooerr) was also proving very effective. Think I got 3/4 CTs in the back one round. Beautiful !

And Norm it was me with "Played Norm". Nothing quite like seeing Barrys head explode to round the evening off.
