morning,
mate of mine has a song going round their head, they now a little of the lyrics, but not the group or song name.

here's what they remember, which I'm told is the chorus:

Hey Jessie's girl (or maybe Hey jealousy)

I think the song was a hit around 1992-93. Correctly identified by fluff Tang as Hey Jealousy by the Gin Blossoms

You know those pop lyric quizes that get emailed around...

Well I got a 90's one with loads of indies tracks on it, and I got most of them, but there was one line that annoyed me, I knew the song, I knew I had it on CD (but couldn't find it), and the lyric was

"do you think it'll be alright, if I just crash here tonight"

I couldn't get it, and I could sing the song, to just before the chorus!!

Anyway in a pub, nearly a year later I hear the song, and harrass the barmaid to tell me who it was, and so it will be one of those songs, I'll always know!!
