.....guys I know its a long shot but I'm in deep crap....I need a room in a shared house ASAP - either in south Oxford/Abingdon/Wantage or even Newbury....
My landlord has sold his houser sooner than expected so I'm homeless in the very very very near future
Dont wanna have to live in the scoob but it might come to that
...either that or I gotta pull some bird with her own gaff and "use" her just for the accomodation .....hmmmmm a plan formulates
Seriously chaps .....HELP!!!!!

Surely there are plenty of vacant places to rent? you might have to spend a little more, but you only have to rent for 3 months and find something better/cheaper in that time.
When I got a contract in norwich. Me and the missus packed all our posessions into a golf estate, stayed in a B&B for 8 days and then moved into a rented flat.
alternatively, try the ymca

Richard,
there are laws about renting, and they can't just chuck you out. In fact they can't until it goes to court, which could take 3 to 6 months (and even then they will probably have to give you 30 days notice!).
Check out your local Citizens Advice Bureaux for info and advise.
