Chuck, got the TV last month so wife isn't terribly open to investing in more entertainment technology.

She, for some reason, wants to go on holiday.

I used "darling, I have bought us a small discrete slimline DVD player for the bedroom so we can finish watching movies in bed"

The fact that it can ALSO play video games and came with GT3 is pure added value

 

Pre-ordered mine through Amazon and I haven't seen it yet!

A friend of mine also ordered through Amazon and it turned up while he was at work on Friday! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!

If it doesn't come Monday I'm going out and buying a second copy on Tuesday! I'm not sure I can last that long!

1. The American version is faster (case for a USA version)

2. The chaps over on Exiges.com are posting their best lap-times for a PAL version (case for a PAL version)



I tried playing it on a Widescreen and it didn't correctly fill the screen properly. Perhaps it was the TV's fault (Sony Wega) but I just couldn't get it to fit - and now prefer to run it 4:3 on my 48"

What's wrong with it? Interested in this as I'd like to run the PS2 on the 32" widescreen but, failing that, have a 21" doing nowt at the moment...

Really good, you should really buy one Chiark, otherwise they will all sell out and be twice as expensive at Xmas - well maybe not but tell the missus that
