well its almost tuesday again for our 2nd session on our new server.

server should be up with this password from 8pm.

I've bravely installed the new map pack too, they look pretty good in LAN mode at least.

i'm just letting 3 guys at work know the ip and password so hopefully we'll have a reasonable number.
hoping they will be around between 8 / 8:30 so we'll see who we get.
RR : we've been running standard maps so far as everyones obviously got them. no doubt we can try other maps if we get enough regulars and agree on maps to try out ?
the more the merrier !

Came home 2day to find my PC wouldn't boot up 
I've just this minute re-installed Win 2k and am trying my best to download an FTP Client and setup the server for 2nite.
99% certain that it'll be up in time but not sure if I can join.
Means installing HL, then all patches (after finding them on 1 of about 564 CDs) then installing CS, all this after video card drivers and sound card etc...
Hope you have fun...

Right.... Well.....
I've uploaded the scooby config file...
Password and server name wont change until map change tho as I cant rcon in to it.
For now the password is "dr".
In anything up to 20mins the password will be "scooby".

Really not sure whats going on to be honest.
Not being able to view it without gamespy doesn't help so I installed it and it's not pinging for me.
Looks like we're gonna have to cancel tonight.
Maybe make it for Wed/Thurs.

sent 4 packets, received 4packets, av ping 141ms !!
weird....i'll check back in 20mins or so to see if you have success.

I was there for a while, but nobody turned up.
Ended up going with the server that you had suggested.
Maybe catch you tomorrow, or whenever mole gets his 'puter rebuilt.

hopefully mole will get pc sorted for either tomorrow or thur ? anyone up for it if he does ?

Internet connection was bad last night.
I played very badly (four pints of Landlord!) and couldn't hit a barn door with a shovel.
I went to the server suggested by Andrew and found Kheldar rescuing some hostages so I shot him.
Server moved on to Cbbl and some other people turned up. Then following some "connection error" messages, the server gave up the ghost.
I'll be there, tell me when and where.
And don't talk to me about public servers, ye gods, cheats r us were out last night. Plus idiots radioing "stick together team" running of in one direction then all dispersing once around the corner. Tchoh!

oh i dunno bazza, ithink u played as wellas u normally do m8
was not a bad server til it crashed !
lets hope moles pc is fit and well v soon so we can get a decent game with lots of us there.

Wahey!
Downloaded 89mb CS (at work ) & installed last night
Then it wanted me to patch
with #3 
56mb download (at home )...
Now done that & <I>I think</I> it'll be all set to link up - didn't have time to play this morning before I went to work...
Any other patches/maps/downloads I need?
Just need to get my SB16 PCi card working under W2K & we're there!
When's next?

That server is always empty or 1 person on it as far as I've seen so far.
Oh and it was on Thunder again!
I shall ignore Kheldar and pretend he's not there.
