Mine has just started playing up. Incoming phonecalls and texts dont get shown by their name as listed in my address book. Ones that have worked fine just display numbers now.

Obviously Ive checked the numbers are correct but still nothing. Its a tad annoying as I cant see who is texting/ringing me.

Anyone seen this before/got any ideas? Ive powered it off, taken out battery etc to no avail.

Simon.

Mine does this every now and then, but goes back to normal soon enough. Not sure what causes it, or what cures it as I never turn mine off.

If you can, get the software upgraded.
I've had to do this a few times to my phone.
Try Esato as there is a wealth of SE information here.

yep, get the software upgraded - mine went ape after being in my pocket when go-karting. Mysteriously dialled a few numbers (including 999!!), barred all my calls and needed a new PUK code! Took it back to Vodafone and they sorted it, been fine since...(fingers crossed)
