ok here goes im looking for a new printer to replace my HP930c resolution 2400x1200 dpi, there is nothing wrong with it i am just sick of paying £30 plus for cartridges,and my printer i had before was a 740 epson(which i should of kept).so i want another epson as the cartridges are cheaper and compatible cartridges are availble,the photo versions now availble are the 790 and 890 but the compatible cartridges are not availble as far as i no for these,both these use 6 colour inks and can do up to 2880x720 dpi,so i dont think thses are an option,but the epson 880 is also 2880x720 but uses only a 4 colour ink cartridge and the compatibles are availble for this model,but what would the quality of the prints be like any ideas,all i want is something that is availble today from epson that compatible cartridges are availble for, that will print as good as my old 740 or my HP930c,anyone use a 880 epson and done any digital camera pics on it.
