Question

Does anyone know anything about the Veteran Motorist organisation, you know the one that gives out the V grille badges with a number in the centre to indicate What?

The number of years the person has been driving ?
The number of years the person has been driving without an accident ?

Any info regarding this would be apreciated
as it involves an accident in which a VM was involved , admitted liability at the scene and is now denying it was his fault

Sounds like this guy could be in trouble. All insurance companies state that you should *never* admit fault in any accident, and let them decide who's fault it is. If you have witnesses to back up this admission of "guilt" then it doesn't matter what organisation the old boy belongs to...

All I was wondering was if this guy had an insurance claim made against him for an accident that he caused , would he loose his VM membership?

The accident in question was 11 months ago, he asked for a quote for repairs, so he could pay for it without going through the insurance.
Quote was £325 + vat ,which he thought was to much ,so we went throught the insurance .

He has since argued that my wife caused the damage to her own car pulling forward to move her car off the road after he 'didnt' hit her rear wing and bumper.
