There were some articles in the weekend papers that said the census people have no powers to formally recognise a new religon, and that nothing will change. Who cares, put Jedi down anyway.

 

Me,the Mrs and the little lad are now all Jedis.

On the front of the census btw,it actually states that the fine for crap info does not apply to religion.Its not crap anyway,we really are Jedis.

 

I have heard that if you put Jedi they will just mark it as 'other'

I put Burnley down for the Clarets,but i was brought up in Foulridge(now live down south).

Mum still in Barnoldswick and Dad in Trawden.Went to Walton high Scool 76-81 and N+C college 81-83.

And Ive heard that a group of guys are hastily organising a formal structure for the Jedi,as the charity status has certain rules regarding an organisation.
If they can pull it together the Government will have to recognise the religion.

Sad thing is you just KNOW that there will be some who take it seriously!!
