In just about every magazine I buy these days, included is either an advert or pamphlet advertising Britannia music.
On the front of the pamphlet it says, "Take 6. Pay for 1." which IMO appears to be a good deal! BUT I know that there are better bargains around!

You lot are a knowledgeable group, and so I ask, 'where can I get much cheaper CD's?'

I'd stay clear of Britannia IMHO.

Although you get 6 for the price of 1, you then have to buy another 6 or so at full price.

An average CD from Britannia inclusive of P&P can then cost you £16 or £17.

They also give you a recommended recording each month, and if you don't cancel it, they automatically send it out. If you don't want it you return it, but obviously have to pay P&P.

There are many better alternatives than Brittania.

 

Second that - steer WELL clear of Britannia. According to my financial advisor they are one of the largest causes of mortgage refusals in the UK because if you cancel your agreement, they put you down as defaulting on a loan.

My girlfriend has had no end of fun trying to get out of their poxy club. You do have to buy 6 full price CDs in 2 years but what they don't tell you is that you actually have to buy 3 per year. If you buy 4 in the 1st year, you still have to buy 3 the 2nd.
