Metal Gear Solid 2 - awesome!

Just played the tanker level demo and its absolutely amazing. Graphics set a new standard with rain bouncing off each character's body.
Also tried Gran Turismo 3 demo with the EVO VI in Chicago - also amazing.
Next on the list is Winning Eleven 5 (ISS Pro EVO II), just released in Japan last week. A copy is winging its way to me as I type!
At last the PS2 gets some killer apps!

When are MGS2 and GT3 due a UK release?
And be honest; I loved GT2, but hated its bugs, and loved MGS, but hated its shortness; is it worth buying a PS2 almost purely for these games?
And are there any Tenchu or Syphon Filter games on the horizon for it....?

I read recently that GT3 should be out in June while MGS2 will probably not be out in the UK until about Feb 2002.
I got the MGS2 tanker level demo yesterday, and while it may only be one level, it is the most incredible game I have ever played. The graphics are simply stunning as is the gameplay. It's great fun hiding in lockers, or tranquilising gaurds and hiding them in lockers or throwing them overboard.
I've also got the GT3 demo and that has also got great graphics, but the gameplay will need quite a bit of improvement, the cars just bounce off each other as if they're made of rubber.
