Would foot and mouth disease cancel silverstone races?

Anybody got any idea if the powertour series (brit GT , F3 etc) at silverstone at the end of this month is still going off ?
I've tried emailing powertour and silverstone but no word back .

Last I heard (talking to Powertour lot last week), they said it would be going ahead.
They see no reason why any event shouldn't go ahead at Silverstone unless Silverstone itself ends up being within a 3km limit due to a farm up the road being infected.
It is a waiting game at the moment.
I plan to be there for the GT on the Sunday.
Cheers

You shouldn't have to worry about these, but the F1 GP is looking worrying.
They predict that the Foot and Mouth will get worst and ofcourse all the travelling for the F1 GP will cause problems.
Many International events are looking doubtful, some have been cancelled already and most of the others are on the TBA list.
Being a F1 fan I hope it goes ahead.
