Seems as if I managed to be fastest on Italy SS1 with my 2.08.04, in the Pug 205 t16.

Specialstage for week 10 will be Sweden SS5.

*ONLY* WRC cars will be allowed.

An early start on the event...
3.12.12 - Subaru Impreza WRC

Cheers

Good race on the Italy stage Secret. My 3 week old son put a stop to any additional attempts for me to beat your time, but i think it would have required a number of attempts.

Sweden, Erm doesnt that give you a home advantage? LOL

Referee !!!!!????!!!!!!

I also think that Jerry has a home advantage here

Actually, I don't care, but I do not like any of the stages that are not gravel

Anyways, best so far, after about 10 attempts:

3:18:54 - Scooby WRC

What i especially hate about this stage is that if you go off at all, you tend to loose loads of time. Er, like real life then

Cheers

Ian

I've tried the free demo and it seems crap.

Is the bought and paid for version much better?

Sega Rally 2 would seem to be a much better game.

Steve>> This game is lightyears ahead of SR2, you'll need a steering wheel and a decent gfx-car, and you're set. You'll need to practice alot though, it's tough, but to me, one of the more realistic games out there, apart from maybe GPL (I've never been in an old f1 ).

NO CHEATS ALLOWED ,and only the "original" WRC cars are allowed to be used for this championship.

Ah.....just got into work (not connected at home).

J,
Do you find the Lancer never appears to be very quick until you see the time?

Looks like I'll be hunched over the PC again tonight !!

Not a great fan of snow!. Doesn't reward effort, the harder u try the worse you get. Too much finesse required. Roll on the more aggressive driving stages, this stage is driving me NUTS.

Yours sincerely Mr N.O. Patience.

The snow continues to drive me nuts, so i went back to the sun in Italy and did a 2:07.24 on ss1(integrale). Just had to blow a few cobwebs away.

Oh well back to the snow.

Great time Blurbs. I have only achieved a sub 3:10 on a couple of occasions with a 3:09.87 quickest. PANTS!!!

Cool

It would be interesting to see peoples setups that they used to get their times. Blubs prefers slightly stiff suspension for Sweden, so I gave it a try, but found it rather tough set up like this this. Went back to my setup (with a few alterations) and set a record time (for me anyway).

If anyone can be bothered, someone try and post eclectic stage times based on several runs using the fastest sector times. I'm sure some would very low.

3:06.63

Seat Cordoba (yes really!!).

Gearbox 1 click shorter ratio
Brake bias 1 click off fully rear
Br Strength 2 clicks weak from middle
Suspension 1 click harder from middle
Steering ratio Standard

This was just a really smooth run. It's just a matter of doing the stage again and again with the car as you like it. If you change the settings after every run then I find you don't get any quicker as you don't get time to suss out the difference in handling.
Find a setting you like then it's down to you to wring the most out of the car.

I could go home and it would take me another hour of solid playing to get another error free run. I don't think I can go any quicker now!

You'll have to take my word about the time as I don't have a digital camera to prove it.
Geezer will hopefully vouch for my honesty

Hi guys,

Are you playing this via the net on the PC version or just posting your best times from one player games? If so, can I put up my times from my playstation version??

Cheers
