Hello,

Wondering if someone can help. My brother is working through a Quantity Surveyor's degree at the moment.

He has been assigned a task to help a company (which he makes up) to design and implement, costing, data directory structures, operating s/w, costing etc. You name it, it's needed.

Basically a job a Systems Analyst would do (why he has do do this? neither of us can work out!)

I can help him with Server purchasing ideas, desktop specs, prices, desktop s/w etc. But I am no SA.

Here's the point to my rambling

Is there an SA that posts on this 'ere BBS that could help him, or just give some advice please. All he's had are 2 lectures on the subject. (When I went on the NW 4.11 Admin course I was told of a weeks course on Directory Structure design )

If someone can help, and they're local, he says there will be a beer or so init for the help. If you can help, please post and I will pass on your details.
