I am starting off on the road to my own website, and as a novice I am after some advice on the best way to register a domain name for my website-to-be.

Any pitfalls to watch out for/things to check?

Have found these guys and they seem to be OK - anyone used them before or have alternative recommendations?

we do .co.uk's for a tenner, can register in 5mins, free transfers oh and i host for loads of scoobynetters.

 

We've used Lee (SIWD) to register a couple of hundred .coms, .nets, .orgs and .co.uks.

Good service, no complaints.
