Offal/Tripe whats that about ?

Was just having my brekkie with the telly on, Brian Dowling was annoying me so switched BBC2 on and saw the two fat ladies cutting sheeps kidneys up, made feel a little queasy as she cut the middles out and skinned them, prior to coating them in a hot sauce, for BREAKFAST !!!!!
Anyone under 60 eat this stuff ?
My grandad eats it all the time and he's 82, he eats, heart, kidneys, frys (?), brain, tripe so maybe its good for you ?
His dinner looks more like an autopsy, I am keeping an open mind as they may be superb but I think I shall give tripe a miss whatever.

I now live in offal eating central and when I first got here didnt speak much French. Ordered "Pate a la tete" -translation "pate of the head". It was brain jelly pate- the worst texture you can imagine. Since then I prioritised learning gourmand french!

I bet you all eat McDonalds though................
At least offal is honest. Tripe's quite like fatty chicken skin.
(I too was duped by Johnny Foreignor into eating offal)
Yum yum.

Heart, Liver and Kidneys are gorgeous, especially beef heart and beef tongue One of the best offal products I've had was lambs fries in garlic, good as a starter. Used to be a butcher so all this offal lark is nowt to me, however never liked tripe(except talking it) especially rag tripe as it always reminded me of one of the monsters from Dr Who when he melted, I was only 6 and it put me off(al) for life.

You lot are crap!!
I've had kidney, heart, lungs, intestines, tongue and stomach, all pretty good, but I'm not a fan of liver!
I'm not sure what tripe is, but I've probably had that although I'm not sure about brain!
Along with horse (France), ostrich (Malaysia), crocodile (Fleet, Hampshire!!), snails, frogs legs, chickens feet, ducks feet, snake, as well as most of the gamey stuff. And numerous strange Chinese things, like salted fish, Chinese sausage and dried/salted duck.
But I do love haggis and black pudding as well!!
I must be weird!

Rabbit??? Wot's wrong with rabbit??? I used to snare 'em and eat 'em as a lad. "Lapin a la moutarde", and "Lapin Forestiere" are real gourmet dishes.
