I can't access my companies global address list when offline. I used to be able to until I got the official w2k build on this laptop.

Where do I define where it should store the offline address book (note NOT contacts, they work fine).

cheers,

Greg

You need to have an Off-line folder (OST) defined.

Options > Services > Exchange Server > Advanced > Offline folder

Once this is setup there is a menu option to sync. folders and the Global Address List with your OST file (can't remember exactly where - maybe Options).

Chris.

Exclamation

Greg,

do this on the LAN, not over dialup - unless you want to hang around for a long while!

cheers lads, but I know all that, ost is set up and works fine for all folders, I've done the download address book more times than I would care to remember, still no GAL offline!

Check with the Exchange Administrator to make sure the GAL is configured and available for offline use

Fixed it, deleted my profile, re-created and it works fine!
