Question

Anybody else having problems getting into freeserve tonite? I have been repeatedly getting cannot find server; page not found messages. Everything seemed okay this afternoon.

Even worse I couldn't get into Scoobynet either from my favourites or in search.

Obviously, I'm in now but it has been very frustrating.

Big Den

Edited because I had repated some words in one of the lines - Doh!

Okay!

So I must have been the only one then.

It certainly seems okay now whatever was up (not quite waaaaasssup!) earlier.

Wait Big Den

I think something is going down in internet land somewhere. I have been having trouble both at work and home the last 2 days.

Today I could only get onto about 4 sites from work which usually has a fast connection - I could only read about three scoobynet threads all day - nightmare.

Tonight at home it is very slow again - "cannot find server" cropping up all over the place - what's happening??

Big Den, from what I've heard every night is a bleeding problem on Freeserve....

If you are having problems resolving website names and you want some alternative DNS addresses, mail me. I have a couple I use that are very good.

Yep, I'm having problems again tonight getting into certain sites and some scooby threads won't open.

Re:freeserve, I'm thinking of changing to Skynow where I'll also save 40% on call charges thru Skytalk (uses BT).

Thanks Chris I'll drop you a mail later.

Sorry Dave T-S, Big Ben ain't my brother & he's not heavy either!
