A couple of my friends who have bought/upgraded through Techtronics have nothing but good to say about them.

Would definitely consider them myself if I was in the market for one.

Cool

Be very careful before getting your DVD player chipped. It is a safe procedure but there are a lot of cowboys out there who can screw your entire system up, with substandard "upgrades".

Techtronics are well known, as are a few others.

Just be careful...

Another double vote for techtronics, got mine and a m8s one done by them about a year ago, quick service and not a problem with the players

I can recommend Techtronics.

Very good and reliable. Also very good for advice/tech support. Quick, prompt advice.

Unhappy

Got given a Sony 525? DVD player. It says region 2 only but if I import discs will I have to specify this region or is that bo11ox put out by the companies to stop people trying?

Sorry if it's been done before, not been on this section yet.
