Going to see Miss Saigon at the Edinburgh playhouse tonight. Being an uncultured oaf I have never actualy been to a theatre and as such I do not have a clue as to what is considered appropriate dress. Does a smart shirt and trousers sound OK or do I go the full bifta suit and tie. Help mucho appreciated

 

In London you can wear pretty much whatever you like.......

 

Smart shirt, trousers and shoes would does ok in the Glasgow theaters. Guess Edinburgh shouldn't be any different.

Best asking Saxo Boy, he sounds like a bit of an Edinburgh theater connoisseur.
