Which version of MSExchange are U running? What abt servicepacks?
When, and how often does it run IS maintenance? When running it CPU utilization goes through the roof, haven't seen i on a 5.x server though, yet I might add.
Try this **** of a link (knowledgebase at MS, with a predefined search just for U)

Store.exe is one of the core components of MS Exchange Server. It runs the Information Store.
How many users does the box support? How much RAM does it have and what sort of disk arrangement?
There are some pre-defined PerfMon graphs (usually in Start > Programs > Exchange Server). One is called something like Server Health and gives you some useful information on how hard the box is working.
