Can anybody better:

Cahoot: £8500 over 3 years = £261.62 per month, total payable = £9418.32. (APR=7%, for what its worth!).

Equates to 3.6% flat rate I think!

Cheers

Matt.

I'm going with Tesco for my loan of around 8k. Total amount repayable is around £9200 over 4 years at £210-ish a month. IIRC the interest rate is aroun 7.3%

www.moneyfacts.co.uk is an excellent place to see who's offering the best deals on any financial issues.

Why don't you ask Pete Lewis ?
I understand he has a few old fivers lying around He may also have a monkey or two stashed under the duvet in the nursing home

Cahoots loans are usually variable so Id be careful. 7% sounds good but if it can change then Id rather pay 8% fixed.

Have you actually got an offer from them? They make a big deal about offering low interest but a lot of people (myself included) with good credit history have not managed to get a Cahoot loan.

Simon.
