hi si, try using a good quality whay protein.

it is best to cycle creatine as its not the best thing in the world for your liver.

one of the best supplements for the money(that works) is GABA(gama amino butric acid)

what it does is raise the bodies own growth hormone level.

definatly worth a look

the most important thing is a good high protein diet and training properly.

Just eat properly.

All that tinned stuff is an expensive con, presented with pseudoscientific marketing twaddle - the whole scene is the male equivalent of anti-ageing wrinkle creams etc. that women buy.

Wouldn't touch 'em!

The problem with suppliments is that once you start with them you need to keep using them to keep up.

Do it naturally!

Exclamation

another good word of advice is to ALWAYS use a training belt.

i have an appointment with a orthipedic surgeon tomorrow to see about having an op to remove one of the discs in my lower back and fusing the two bones together!!!

i am realy looking forward to that!

Alright lads,
Sorry to hijack your thread but I got a quick question. I'm not really into this gym malarky but I've got a weights bench at home and I do circuit training once a week. I've always fancied beefing up a bit but nothing major - I'd like to be about 16 stone. I'm just under 14 at the mo so would it be quite easy to put on a couple of stone somehow, as no matter what I eat I don't really put on weight (I ate 8 kebabs in 7 days once ).

Any tips?

J

super - si careful on the creatine - cycle it as said earlier.
I do 4 weeks on - 4 weeks off.

GABA - be very careful - raises the heartrate, causes rise in body temp - can feel like your having a mild heart attack.
It used to be available over the counter - I tried it - never again.

steroids - not if you've got a brain.

good quality protein powder and/or mass gain powder with 3/4 days training a week.
Maximum you can put on naturally in muscle is 7-8 lbs a year.

overtraining is as bad as no training - the muscles grow when you've finished breaking the muscle fibre down in training,
hence you need the protein to re-build.
but if you train same muscles when they're still sore, you're just breaking it down further.

Maximuscle will help you out if you call them up and ask.

You may want the creatine tablets if you play rugby as help recovery.

I've used Promax,Progain and 8000es before. Being tall and slim it certainly gave me better performance, gain and recovery times were down.

Defo worth a call m8!!!

Super_si, if you want to build then you need more protein.

I've read a lot fo stuff that says that if you're training hard and want to put muscle on then you need at least 1 grams of protein for every pound you weigh. So if you're 14 stone then ideally you need around 200 grams of protein everyday. Also, you're body cant take in much more than 28-30 grams of protein in one go, so anymore and you're wasting it. Ideally you want to be having 5 or 6 meals a day, all with 30 grams of protein in them.

Also, you should try taking in the majority of your carbohydrates before you train, as they are effectivly the fuel you'll be using for the workout. Try not to take ont oo many after you've done the workout, and particularly late in the evening. your body takes 6-8 hours to digest the food in your stomach, so if you've had a lot of carbs before you go to bed all that will happen is you'll store the excess as fat as your body wont be needing much when its asleep.

Try having a protein shake with your breakfast, mayeb a tuna sandwich or something with your fruit in the morning, then your usual meals, then have a protein drink last thing at night. That way you've got protein being digested while your muscles are being repaired while you sleep.

Also try not to train the same muscles more than once a week, if somethings still sore when you are trying to train it then you wont be doing it any good, and it wont grow.

I'll stop now as this is starting to look like an essay - hope some of its usefull though mate

i am now 16 stone 7 pounds with 25% bf

only stopped training 1 year ago but after my back op i should be able to start again (hope so)

Red face

DECA DURABOLIN
DECA DECANOATE
NADROLONE DECANOATE
TESTEX
NAPOSIM 50mgs
METHANDRALONE
MGH(male growth hormone)

The above all work, but I wouldnt recommend any of them, coz they **** you up.With every gain there is a pitfall, how bad do you want it?......to die for?

Later Yoza

When I started out I used a pack called "Joe WEIDER mega packs" they had sachets in the box which contained all your RDA of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, etc.

after going on the **** last night i noticed theres a lot people bigger then me

I know most the bouncer, so now im really wanting to get bigger now.

Im still debating on roids, but what to do about them.

Im train hard all the time, i go day in day out still upping and staying around my max limit at the moment, so its not a case of you shouldnt go when your sore because i push it anyway.

At the moment with hitting my limit its frustrating because im not getting anywhere.

thanks for the advice mate.

Any chance i could have a chat on MSN or email about it?

Cheers

Si

Sounds as if you are 'overtraining'

Also going on the **** don't help and you'll need to cut out all caffeine if your on creatine.
