Someone drove into the back of me the other nite. It was only minor, so no need for insurance.
I've bought a new number plate and a new tow-eye cover (Which I had to get sprayed) and had the affecting scratches polished out. It looks 100% so that's the main thing.
She wants a reciept, but I don't have one from the garage as it was done as an out-of-hours jobby. It all came to around 50 squid. I realise she needs some sort of receipt for her cash, ie. a confirmation that this is in settlement for the damage for the accident.
Could some-one gimme a quick idea of how to set out a letter etc confirming the above cash has been received by myself and I do not wish to follow it up further.
Oh, and could I get this asap cheers guys n gals
[Edit cos I read it back and it made no sense]
