I'm after a Goped, don't really know much about them ,how much they are worth s/hand etc..
I'm after one to use as a Pit Bike/use on light gravel. ( needs to be reasonably compact to fit in boot)
Anyone give me any pointers as to what to look at? .. which "style" would be best etc...
The GOPED BigFoot looks a bit big really.
Are they expensive to fix?
Hoping to find one second hand.. if anyone knows of one .
Cheers
Andy

Andy,
If it is going to be used on gravel it pretty much has to be the Bigfoot.
I've got a Sport and it really is best on smooth tarmac, even manhole covers can be pretty lethal :|
A friend and I (well mainly my friend) has fixed mine a few times and it is fairly simple to work on.
Hope that is of some help

I've got the sport, definatley go for the Bigfoot if you want to use on gravel
GoPed-uk
The sport is excellent, does about 20mph. Doesn't really go on any surface except smoothish tarmac.
It run on grass, but any hint of moisture then it's wheel spin city.
The Super Bigfoot looks like the absolute nuts

I've got one made by some company called Qingqi
Had it for two years and its good fun. It was buzzing around at the National day, if you were there. I normally take it to track days, for the crack. It does about 25mph flat out.
They are £350 from a "man in a van" who comes around our estate and have a seat if you want to sit on it.
HIGHLY illegal to use on the road or pavement.

Meant to add that the Qingqi has a pull start and auto clutch, so you can start off without bump starting it and can stop without it stalling.

I saw you on yours Pete at the national day, Looked pretty good actually, .. I think that's the sort of thing i'm after..
It's not really gravel i'd want to use it on, just a loose surface, if my radio controlled car can run on it , the surely a smaller wheeled goped would?
