Question

I regularly see the above, the splats being about 8 inches or so across, usually on the bonnet and roof. My theory is that they are armed response cars and the splats are to identify them to other police units?

Any ideas/answers...

They are Air Support recognition markers, all emergency service vehicles carry them. in different formats depending on which part of the country you are in.

It's seagull ****! When they get too hot, they encourage the seagulls to crap on them, 'cos most folk wouldn't p*ss on 'em if they were on fire!!
