Kill the cat and sack the wife off.. she's got it coming after the exhaust issue... infact bump them both of with one sweep of a downpipe

Yeah I get this problem. I'm actually a cat lover, but it's hard to remain so when I see the sets of scratches over my wheel arches left by the neighbours little darlings when they jump down from my bonnet

Securely fasten the cat to the front of the car and go for a "spirited" drive. Should catch the hint that the bonnet is not a good place to sit after that
