RIP PPI
Thank the Lord!
I will not be missing this!
Adverts, texts, crud through the letter box, emails, phone calls, knocks on the door, more and more and even more emails and phone calls.
RIP PPI. We will not miss you.

I will be glad of the end of Gladstone Brooke’s bothering me 5 times a week, but then they feel a bit put out as they investigated 3 claims for me and never finalised them as I did myself. End result was almost 15k refunded. Will not miss PPI, but not going to lie I’m glad it existed in the first place. Thank you Barclays for forcing me to take out PPI even though I was in the forces and clearly did not need it!

Robsy,
Not sure of your circumstances but you can appeal their decision through the FSA. The deadline (I believe) is for new claims. Existing cases can be brought to the FSA and can be appealed. May be worth looking into still?
With regards the cash for crash vultures I ask them to call back during office hours on 0207 9250918 and ask for the lady of the house as she has all the details.
Not sure Theresa May is that interested but she can definitely have their calls blocked.
