ah, great management strategies. I once got an e-mail from my boss with a list of tasks I hadn't completed, followed by the line: "I won't be around much today, I'll be out on my bike", he'd just bought a new Triumph Daytona.

Ha - reminds me of one of my previous bosses. It was a small 8 person company and he says to me one day whilst we're discussing poor staff morale: "Of course, I only look on the people here as my pension!"
He seemed quite surprised that I decided to pursue my career elsewhere shortly afterwards (along with 3 of my former colleagues).
Some people have no idea
Cheers,
Steve

An old boss of mine used to try to motivate certain staff by giving bonuses to the other staff but doing F all
Strangely that didn't work at all
Nice when you are of the ones not need motivating but damn annoying for the others.
