Amazon...why do I bother?

Amazon...why do I bother?
recently ordered two brass connectors for a 3/4" hosepipe, one end of each fits to the hose, the other fits to the male spigot on the tap, or sprayer.
Two weeks: nothing.
I contact them, and by return, get two 3/4" threaded tap connectors...the male spigot for screwing onto the tap
So I contact them again, once again quoting the actual part number of the bit I want.
By return, two hose repair connectors. Different part number. Look similar, but aren't.
I've contacted them again. We are now into three weeks.
If ONLY ebay had stocked the parts I needed. I wanted the Draper brass ones, they only had cheap Hozelok plastic, which go brittle and break.

Iv got one them , bought recently ...
The worrying thing to me is that even throughout that someone's made a profit.
Sooner or later you won't even be able to and actually go see what you're purchasing physically

Me too, today recieved a 16mm2 crimping tool after ordering it last night on prime.
So now I can actually wire in the electric heater element on my Golf (retrofit- diesel models have one, petrol ones don't...something I'm reminded of every time it freezes, so finally got round to sorting it ). Oh what a eventful life I have LOL.

Amazon great.
However when I had a moan about crazy pricing( complained my £850 watch -standard price on high street)was being advertised for about £2500 by someone unscrupulous- they wouldn't post my review warning people ! Fleabay I could understand. You take the risk

Is this the one you're referring to that won't fit? 3/4" thread onto a 1/2" BSP pipe? https://www.toolstation.com/shop/p66154?table=no

Nope, all those are 3/4" threaded TAP connectors, which then provide a male spigot with O-ring for the female hose connector to fit on. The last one is what they sent me first.
This is what I want:
Sadly, they are quite rare which means that 2 of those will be almost as dear as 30m of hose I bought

They do, it's the one shown, but their website doesn't offer buying direct, and the local stockists they offered me only sell Draper tools, not hose parts.
As noted, t'internet is possible, but at £11.16 per connection, (two needed)? When those for the 1/2" hose are under £3 each post paid?
The above at amazon isn't it either. That one has a female thread to fit to a threaded tap.

Personally I had no luck with the brass connectors...the nose that fits on the hose is too short so not enough sealing area, the clamping ring is poor quality plastic so does not grip the hose after cycling in heat and mains pressure. And the female bit that fits the male bit on the tap uses plastic locking pawls or steel springs that rust and fail. So yeah, hard wearing body but the rest is crap!
Inevitably this means the hose pops off on random occasions with increasing frequency as they age.
I tend to use either Claber or Gardena these days (not the aqua-stop ones as they aren't frost proof)...just leave unplugged both ends in frost/cold weather, don't drop them, don't wrench or snag them and don't drag them (take hose end back to reel before winding in). They seem to last fairly well then once everyone in the household has had enough ear bending about not bashing/wrenching them or leaving them connected in winter. They will eventually succumb to the sun's UV though.
Wiko ones seem ok too, although doubt you'll get them for 19mm hose (3/4").
