Default IFA Commissions?

Looks like an IFA will be helping change my mortgage. If the deal is concluded the IFA will charge me £500. Does the IFA also get a cut from the mortgage company and is he under any obligation to tell me this?

Thanks, David

Thanks, David
Details of that should be included in the Key Facts document he gives you, I would have thought.

(If he doesn't give you a Key Facts, he's bent and you should run a mile and report him to the FSA immediately)

His commission will also be on the mortgage documents.

Thanks but I want to find out before the mortgage is agreed. I want to know whether his cut will depend on which company he recommends, David
