House Move - Kitchen Related Quesion
Looks like I might be moving in a couple of months. Now the lady who wants my gaffe doesn't want any of my kitchen appliances and even said she had her own cooker and didn't want mine. OK I said before realising I had a built in gas hob above a decent electric double oven. I can't think the hob is connected in any way to the oven below.
So do I take the oven with me and leave the hob just sitting as it is? Would look a bit odd?
Advice required please, David

I've had a separate gas hob and double electric oven in my last two kitchens and both times they've been completely separate. In both cases I would have been able to remove one and not the other so there is a good chance you could do the same.
If she doesn't want any appliance then I would be tempted to take both.
You will have to list what is staying and what is going anyway so there won't be any surprises when she moves in.

As Fozz says, write everything down. That way she can't then take you to court for taking the cooker with you. Her word against yours. A Court would probably side with her stating you didn't leave her basic requirement to cook food.
But yeah, it would look very odd. For the hassle, I'd just leave it in. What does it matter to you? unless you're going to sell them on or install them into your new kitchen?

Thanks for that. I'll probably leave the hob as I can't be arsed to get the gas board in to disconnect and worktop would look a bit out of place with damn great cut-out in middle.
And yes I have multi page form to complete for items staying. Even a question about Japanese Knotweed
Wish me luck David
